Your right of withdrawal – transparent and legally compliant

We attach great importance to transparency and fairness. On this page we provide you with comprehensive information about your legal right of cancellation in accordance with Section 355 BGB and Section 312g BGB as well as the process and conditions for cancelling contracts concluded via our online shop.


1. Right of withdrawal for consumers (§ 355 BGB)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days and begins on the day on which:

  • you or a third party designated by you (who is not the carrier) has taken possession of the goods, or
  • in the case of partial deliveries: you or a third party designated by you have taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail).

2. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal (§ 312g para. 2 BGB)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods that have been made to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs.
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
  • Perishable goods or goods whose expiration date is quickly exceeded.
  • Sound or video recordings and computer software in a sealed package, if the seal has been removed after delivery.
  • Digital content (e.g. software, e-books), if you have expressly consented to the execution of the contract and we have previously informed you of the loss of the right of withdrawal (Section 356 Paragraph 5 of the German Civil Code).

3. Consequences of revocation (§ 357 BGB)

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments that we have received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the standard delivery offered by us).

The refund will be made promptly and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received the returned goods or you provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

Reduction of the reimbursement amount:
You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling which is not necessary to check the quality, properties and functioning of the goods (Section 357 Paragraph 7 of the German Civil Code).


4. Return costs and return obligations (§ 357 para. 6 BGB)

  • You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the goods delivered do not correspond to the order or are faulty.
  • Please note that we do not accept returns without postage paid. These will be automatically returned and the resulting costs will be invoiced to the sender (Section 241 Paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code).
  • You must return the goods immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract.

5. Special regulations for certain products (§ 356 para. 2 BGB)

  • Partial deliveries:
    If you cancel an order that consists of several partial deliveries, the cancellation applies to all outstanding deliveries of the same order (Section 356 Paragraph 2 No. 1 of the German Civil Code).

  • Freight goods:
    For goods delivered by freight forwarder, the cancellation period only begins when you or a third party designated by you has taken full possession of the goods (Section 356 Paragraph 2 No. 2 BGB).


6. Notes on packaging and condition of the return (§ 346 para. 2 BGB)

Please note that the goods should be securely packed in the original packaging for return. We reserve the right to claim a reduction in value for damage caused by improper packaging (Section 346 Paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code).


7. Legal protections for traders

  • Refusal of freight collect returns (§ 241 para. 2 BGB):
    We refuse returns without postage paid and reserve the right to charge the sender for the costs.

  • Exclusion of compensation for delay (§ 280 para. 1 BGB):
    We are not liable for damages caused by delays if these are due to force majeure or by third parties (e.g. shipping service providers).
